About
Amanda Dyer
I offer a confidential safe space for you to explore the difficulties you are experiencing. I will guide you and be with you, as you overcome deeply difficult challenges, to find a new level of confidence, calm and purpose.
As a qualified, professional MBACP Counsellor, I offer online and telephone counselling nationwide, with face to face consultations arranged locally in DARTMOUTH or TOTNES, Devon.
By integrating various Therapeutic Models from a Humanistic approach, including Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Sandplay & Transpersonal Therapies, I am able to give reliable and proven help in overcoming debilitating anxieties.
Additionally, I am a qualified Yoga teacher and can include Mindfulness and Breath/Body awareness, for those interested in exploring these complimentary therapies.
I am registered with the *BACP, respect their code of ethical practice & values and participate in continual professional development.
My many professional interests include: - Relationships and how we transact - Early development - Attachment Theory and how this shapes our lives.
* The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is the professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK.
